my college life..chapter-4...

Chapter-4  "Formation of ixi"

While my personal life was leaving me with bitter tastes, there was something i was getting close to...my college friends..for me this was the time when i realised that there is more in life..apart from love and hate .......a relation which is unselfish ,a relation which does not stand on expectations and a relation in which you dont have to keep justifying yourself...."Friendship"...i realised why people actually say that the college days tend to be the golden days of your life....i was late in learning this...but i did learn...i had few friends before i took admission in my college...guys like rahul and pranam...who were there with me in my school...but what fifth semester rather i should say college gave me was a bunch of idiots....bastards....fools....but above all....true friends....yeah for me that is what a true friend is....there was rather i should say there is about 14 of us....namely.....Rahul,Romil,Rishi,Rituraj,Rupesh,Rahul Shrivastava,Anand,Aanjaneya,Ishmeet,Rahul Pathak,Deepak,Ashish,Pranam and Kunal..

There are few things that i can gurantee you when even 7 out of the 14 are together....studies will never be a part of discussions or they might be but only during exam times....if ritu's there his great laugh..i cant even say it ,a laugh..its something different...(will beat siddhu ne time)...if ishmeet's around all focus would be on him trying to pull his leg (in our laguage.."uski har dum marti rahegi....") by the way,same would happen,  even if he is not around...but there was something missing probably one name which would define all of us...we tend to have the same characteristics...so one name that would define all of our deeds and characteristics..after giving it a long thought...one name was finalized...rahul and romil should take the credit for this..and ultimately....fifth semester lead to the formation of......"INTELLECTUAL IDIOTS"...{ixi}...

I suppose a name which best defines all of us....be it absconding from the exam hall just before the question papers are distributed....be it singing songs...while on your two wheelers..(and sometimes head banging as well......)...be it not letting others study when you are not studying..be it making a mockery of yourself in front of the whole college while trying to help a friend who not mistakingly but knowingly...got his alto...stuck in mud...that too just after the exam...all these deeds and as rahul says..."humare karam" define intellectual idiots...if there is something that i wolud savour for the rest of my life will be..... the name.... these guys...i never was close to all of them initially..but as days passed by...and as semesters went....today i can say..that i m very much close to all these 14 guys....i will be honest in saying that there was a time when i was alone....but "ixi"..gave me a new life..i might be sounding foolish...but thats the way it is...a bunch of guys...not even apprehensive about next few minutes....a bunch of guys who know what they can do but they simply dont...a bunch of guys who have the capabilities but just do not go on showing what they are made of...a bunch of guys who know what to do at what time....that is what "intellectual idiots" stand for.

sometimes i think how people from different backgrounds..different mind set.....can be so close...that is probably the wierd side of human beings...and realtionships....but i did understand the word "friendship" in my college....but there is something more to be done in college...study...and i sucked in that region..my placements..and exam times...all in the next chapter....till then...
